Vertical, multistage, ring section pumps in can-type version



The vertical, multi-stage, sectional, can-type pumps (type VS6) according to the ISO standard or API 610 are high-performance, vertically suspended centrifugal pumps. They have been specially developed for applications involving large delivery heads and demanding operating conditions. The characteristic can design (double casing) encloses the multistage hydraulic system, enabling a compact, pressure-stable and easy-to-maintain design.
The axially arranged impellers ensure high pressures at variable flow rates. The motor, bearings and hydraulic section are structurally separated: the drive is located at the top in a dry environment while the multi-stage pump section is housed in the pot casing. The API 610 VS6 design meets the highest safety, material, vibration behaviour and operational reliability requirements. It is ideal for critical processes in the energy, oil and gas, and chemical industries.
Typical applications range from condensate and booster applications to transport, water injection and processing tasks, as well as pumping demanding media such as crude oil, LPG/LNG, propane, process condensates, solvents and coolants.
