Last year, Apollo once again demonstrated its capabilities in the global oil & gas and power plant market. Apollo supplied different pump units for various applications.

For example, Apollo received an order from a German plant construction company for a Russian integrated refinery and petrochemical complex near Tobolsk. Apollo manufactured in total 28 pumps for this order. Due to the special pumping liquids mixed with propylene glycol, butene or propylene, the pump units had to be supplied with special materials. Another major challenge were the ambient temperatures of up to -52 °C, which Apollo implemented using various technical solutions such as heat tracing or insulation of the pump casings and piping systems.

Another highlight was the delivery of two 1.1 MW high-pressure boiler feed water pumps of the Apollo type AMG-150/5 according to API 610 (BB3). The pumps are used in the Iranian plant "MOBIN Petrochemical Complex" to inject boiler feed water into a steam generator. This modern industrial plant is located in Southern Iran. The complex consists of several complexes and is built on an area of 88 hectares. For Apollo this was a follow-up order in the course of an earlier successful cooperation with the operator.
