New to the range: Hydraulic Power Recovery Turbine (HPRT)

We have expanded our product portfolio to include the HPRT, which is now available! Benefit from efficient energy recovery thanks to optimized pump technology.

Greater efficiency, lower costs – the new hydraulic power recovery turbine now available from Apollo!

Efficient use of hydraulic energy is key to reducing operating costs and increasing the sustainability of industrial processes. With the introduction of the Hydraulic Power Recovery Turbine (HPRT), Apollo is taking an important step towards optimising its processes.

Our HPRT converts potential energy into mechanical energy, enabling the recovery of pressure potential in systems. This reduces the load on the drive motor, significantly lowering energy consumption and operating costs.
The HPRT pump skid is based on an Apollo ZMK centrifugal pump: an axially split, single-stage process pump in accordance with API 610 (type BB1). In this application, the pump delivers 1,500 m³/h of semi-lean Amdea solution, with a delivery head of 350 metres and power consumption of approximately 1.8 MW. The material complies with API class A-8, thus ensuring excellent corrosion resistance. Specifically, the pump skid is used in an ammonia plant for producing fertilisers, where it is integrated into the amine treatment process.

By using this technology, we offer you not only an efficient energy-saving solution, but also a robust system for demanding industrial applications.
